Viridian Apartment Complex

Paynter Dixon (PD) oversaw remediation of this prominent and stylish residential complex, including the replacement of more than 6,500 square metres of hail-damaged roofing.

A catastrophic storm including golf ball size hail caused significant damage to the Viridian Apartment Complex in Canberra.

The complex is one of the major developments in the Kingston Foreshore precinct of Canberra, boasting 173 units and a beautiful landscaped courtyard.

The hail pierced the roof, damaged some elements of the building’s façade, with water ingress damage across all eight buildings in the complex. With all required authority approvals in place, PD commenced works for the apartment hail damage project, comprising roofing repairs, internal remediation works, and installation of motorised pergolas.

Remarkably all apartments remained occupied during remediation. Our team liaised closely with the strata manager to coordinate works and minimise disruption.
