An award-winning aged-care facility which included a sophisticated, technology support service.

The Thomas Holt aged care facility, Flame Tree at Kirrawee in Sydney’s South, is widely regarded as one of the best in Australia.

Paynter Dixon designed and built a 120-bed, seven-story aged care facility with new kitchen and back-of-house areas.

The development features an integrated technology platform which supports resident security, clinical monitoring, hospitality and entertainment services.

The project also included a café, hairdresser, physiotherapy rooms and multi-purpose spaces.

Work on the new building was adjacent to existing facilities and nearby residents.

Paynter Dixon successfully managed community engagement during the complex construction process.

The project won an Excellence in Aged Care award in the 2018 Urban Development Institute of Australia Awards.
