Paynter Dixon has enjoyed a successful working relationship with St Luke’s Care in Sydney’s Potts Point.

St Luke’s appointed Paynter Dixon as managing contractor on a major refurbishment of its level three hospital wing into an aged care facility.

The brief included 20 beds with ensuites, a new servery and dining room.

The project had added complexity as the building is heritage-listed.

The building program had to ensure minimal disruption, including to a sleep clinic below the construction site.

The site also had restrictive access.

The project won an MBA Award in 2019 in the Aged Care category to $5 million.

Paynter Dixon has also worked with St Luke’s on several other projects, including a renovation of two floors in the aged care facility Lulworth House and revamping an outdoor terrace.
