Paynter Dixon was engaged by Castle Hill RSL to build a multi-purpose sports facility for the local community – one of the largest in Australia.
The project involved the design – centred on large-span preassembled frames – and construction of three distinct areas within the complex a pool. These areas include:
- 25m lap pool
- program pool
- aqua-aerobics pool
- large changing areas
- associated plant and filtration systems.
The fitness centre is a large, open-plan space that houses fitness and strength training equipment.
The purpose-built gymnasium features sprung flooring, trampolines, foam block pits and other speciality equipment. To ensure public access to the club and car park was maintained, our team staged construction to strict project deadlines.
Launched as C2K and later rebranded, Castle Hill Fitness and Aquatic Centre is one of the largest and most popular fitness, swimming and gymnastics facilities in Australia.
