James has 20 years’ experience and a background in financial management which provides him with considerable business acumen and a unique insight into client’s project requirements. As Executive Chairman, James oversees the strategic direction of the business and provides focus, support, direction and priority for our teams and growth across all operational sectors.
John is an accomplished senior executive with experience across a broad range of complex operating businesses. He has led organisations across the retail, consumer products, risk, event management and other service sectors. John has previously held senior operational executive roles across United Technology Corporation companies as well as with one of Australia’s largest retailers with revenues in excess of $5 billion and over 20,000 employees.
Will has extensive experience in corporate advisory and financial analysis with 15 years’ experience in various senior roles within major property, construction and investment management companies, as well as broad experience within the not-for-profit sector. He is a Director of the PAYCE Foundation, which is committed to engaged and strategic philanthropy, and the Chairman of Adele House, a leading drug and alcohol rehabilitation centre.
Stephen is a qualified Chartered Accountant with over 25 years’ experience in accounting and finance roles, including CFO roles in ASX listed, multi-national and private companies. Stephen has experience across a broad range of industries including property development, mining, information technology and consumer goods.
With over 30 years’ experience in the development and construction industry, Michael has delivered projects totalling over $3 billion in value across residential, commercial, industrial, community, resort, hotel and large span infrastructure developments in Australia, UAE, Bahrain, India and Egypt.
Gareth has demonstrated the ability to develop and execute growth strategies through leading business and process change to increase efficiency, improve governance, and produce sustainable and profitable business outcomes. Leveraging his KPMG training and ASX listed experience he has created opportunities to positively influence change, engaging stakeholders across all levels of the organisation to find practical solutions to emerging risks and deliver above expectations against time pressures in complex and dynamic environments.
David draws on experience and exceptional project management skills to lead our construction teams on complex and technically challenging projects, ranging from occupied sites with tight construction zones to environmentally sensitive areas. With extensive experience in a variety of building sectors including hospitality, commercial and aged care, David has an established track record in managing challenging construction sites in busy live environments.
Nick has been with Paynter Dixon for over 25 years, originally joining as a Design Manager, progressing onto Design Team Manager, Pre-Construction Manager and ultimately his current role of General Manager – Design. The range of projects that Nick has managed and been involved during his time at Paynter Dixon includes hospitality venues, aged-care facilities, industrial sites and commercial buildings.
With his architectural background, Matthew has a thorough understanding of all aspects of construction, from project conception through to completion. He has extensive experience in construction design in a range of sectors including hospitality, commercial, education and civic facilities. Matthew’s experience in education master planning extends to campus-wide design and multi-site consolidation.
Peter assumes executive level responsibility and overall leadership for business growth for our operations in the ACT. With over 40 years’ experience in the property development and construction profession, he offers outstanding interpersonal and organisational skills and will be responsible for building and maintaining a strong client relationship with existing and future clients. His depth of diverse property experience and niche markets knowledge sees Peter focus on value adding strategies and maintaining client/stakeholder engagement. Peter brings with him a customer-focused approach to developing strong relationships, delivering outstanding performance and value to clients.
Stephanie is a diligent and dynamic HR leader with extensive experience in delivering actionable strategies, solutions, and programs for recognised business value. She leads cross-functional teams in delivering daily operational outcomes whilst also managing long-term strategic HR objectives and initiatives. She also has familiarity managing and growing the HR functions within established, mature business environments as well as fast-paced, high-growth business environments.
Kevin has over 20 years’ experience in Australia and the UK in the preparation of cost estimates, tenders and feasibility studies over an array of projects across the education, aged care, hospitality, commercial and industrial sectors. Kevin has worked on a variety of projects including high schools, universities, heritage, residential, commercial, airport terminals and office and commercial refurbishments.
Astrid has extensive experience in marketing and communications, primarily in the engineering and construction sectors. She possesses a broad skill base that combines strategic planning with hands-on operational marketing and bid management. She has a proven track record in change management, devising and implementing new brand development through acquisition or brand refresh.
George has over 30 years’ experience in the development and construction industries, having worked in numerous construction and project directorship roles across a wide variety of sectors, including but not limited to education, commercial, industrial, community, residential and government. He is highly experienced in strategy development and directorship roles and was previously the founder and CEO of a multi award winning construction company.
