August 4, 2022 | General

Paynter Dixon has appointed Kirk Bolte as General Manager of Southern Region and the ACT to oversee business development, project delivery and strategic growth in the combined region.

With almost 30 years of industry and project management experience, Kirk returns to Paynter Dixon after a 16-year spell with leading property and infrastructure firm, APP.

Initially, Kirk oversaw project delivery across a range of sectors including local government, education, commercial, residential, retail and aged care – up until 2017 when he was promoted to oversee and grow APP’s Southern NSW and ACT business.

Well acquainted with Paynter Dixon, Kirk worked for the business from 2003 to 2006, following his early career as a construction and engineering surveyor.

A resident of the Southern Highlands for 40 years, Kirk says “I’m delighted to return to Paynter Dixon as General Manager for Southern NSW and the ACT.”

“Being a privately owned and family-run business, Paynter Dixon acknowledges the importance of repeat business, and are renowned for delivering quality outcomes for their clients.

“My key priorities in this role will be to explore new clients and partnerships within the regions and to ensure that communities are supported through the use of local consultants, subcontractors and suppliers.”

Kirk is respected for his knowledge of the project development lifecycle, from initial concept and design, through the authority approvals process, to construction delivery and handover.

“My previous clients have always appreciated the time that I have taken to understand their brief and specific project requirements and to make sure that the end result was delivered as per their intent.

“I’m also very familiar with the specific funding, procurement and governance requirements which are critical to delivering government projects.

“On a professional and personal level, I like to maintain involvement and ownership for each project no matter the size or value – to me and Paynter Dixon they are equally as important.”

A small selection of Kirk’s professional achievements are:

  • Management of the Building Education Revolution program for the Catholic Education office (Wollongong) – 28 school projects
  • Delivery of the then largest aged care project in NSW for Kiama Municipal Council
  • Formalised APP’s credentials for local government work with projects in Queanbeyan, Yass and Wollondilly
  • Delivery of 14 regional Connected Learning Centres for TAFE NSW

The new General Manager will head Paynter Dixon’s Canberra office.
