Another project at St. Luke’s Aged Care has been successfully completed. The entire area of Level 3 Hospital Wing was reconfigured into a 19-bed residential aged care facility, with énsuites, new food servery and dining room. As St Luke’s sits in a heritage conservation site, consideration of the potential heritage aspects of the building was required.
The Paynter Dixon team worked very closely with the hospital and aged care staff to ensure the impact during construction was kept to a minimum. The project was a particularly challenging build with highly restrictive timeframes, restricted access and egress, restrictions on noise and live services above and below that could not be shut down.
