Kingdom Culture Christian School Expansion

In close partnership with Kingdom Culture Christian School, Paynter Dixon has embraced pedagogical excellence and design innovation in delivering Australia’s first entrepreneurial school.

Kingdom Culture School at Arncliffe in Sydney’s south has grown rapidly since it opened in 2015. Collaboration is fundamental to the school’s teaching – so a well-designed open learning space was the key design feature.

As Australia’s first entrepreneur school, it mimics design principles seen at Apple and Google headquarters and provides a space to teach ‘21st century skills’ to ‘21st century learners’.

The building boasts state-of-the-art amenities, driven by the three Cs – Creativity, Collaboration and Critical thinking. The layout provides students access to multiple breakout spaces, smart classrooms, and open-plan learning spaces.

Early works included demolishing an existing building which contained asbestos. Furthermore, the constrained site was located in a residential area. Intricate planning, clear communication and effective site coordination in populated areas were all factors to completing work on-schedule, in readiness for the new school year.
